| Manufacturing Process | The test card / device is made of plastic and has two components as top and bottom part. The top part has two holes, one is for sample addition and other one is result window. Test strip composed of absorbent pad, nitro cellulose membrane immobilised with test and control line proteins at the respective place, colloidal gold conjugate pad containg conjugating proteins and sample pad. Test strip is placed in the the housing of the bottom in such a way that sample pad area should be below to sample well. After placing of strip in the bottom housing, top is placed over the bottom and pressed firmly to obtain an assembled single piece. The assembled device is then placed in a foil pouch along with the desiccant and sealed under controlled humidity. |
